hey guys! i have a lot of things i could post, drawings and outfits and the like, but im just checking in... a lot is changing in my life, a lot of realizations are happening. i've met some new people that are enlightening and stimulating. i can only hope i won't ruin it by being a dummy. i'm trying to break out of this anti social, awkward little jut i'm in. i was checking my deviantart messages and this video was in the description for one of the new deviations. i can't stop listening to it! i feel like it accurately describes my mood right now.

hmm.. that's all! artwise, i want to experiment with media. ink, watercolor, and pencil in particular. i want to cultivate concepts i've been thinking about, and i WANT TO DO PORTRAITS!

i'd just like to say that my soul has been saved. i've found the light and converted to bieberism- i am now, proudly and officially, a belieber. i urge you all to belieb in the faith, i've never been happier. i'd like to quote a facebook status i had a few days ago-

Those eyebrows...

A lot of people have been dissing the Balenciaga pastel eyebrows at the 2010 fall show... I love them!!! They're definitely artistically inspiring.. I have a sketchbook full of girls with colored eyebrows. Maybe I'll upload it later! But those eyebrows were insanely cohesive with the collection, which I happened to mostly adore. Some of the clothes were a little too.. puffy for me, and the ones (I'm not very fashionably schooled in terms ok) that had the words printed on them (with the exception of the one below) didn't speak to me much. Overall though, lovely colors and pretty shapes! Here are my three favorites.

The shoes were very interesting too! The ones in the middle I loved, very architectural!

Here's an outfit post, because I haven't done one in awhile. Got a lot of weird looks, but hey! What can you do? I love sailor ties. My hair is getting so long...

Disregard what I said before about actually liking what I draw. 'Cause I have SEEN THE LIGHT and guess what I can't draw at all time for a new profession! Maybe this time I'll go into the wedding planner business.

For my graphic arts class we have to design movie posters... I'm having a lot of trouble picking one out of all my ideas. I've narrowed it down to three! "The Hedgehog"...



which is about a girl who lives in Chile... she finds a hedgehog in a tree and believes it to be lucky. She brings it home and a series of lucky events happen, such as her fathers goat giving birth, her mom finally finding the ingredient she's been searching for since she was a little girl, when her mom taught her to make Paila Marina. She forgot the secret ingredient! What a ditz. Anyways, she blames this all on the "lucky" hedgehog, AND ADVENTURES ENSUE

Look, I know I promised you a positive, but my mind is blank at the moment. How about I get back to you? The whole purpose of this blog is now me searching for a positive. This is gonna be MY JOURNEY TO BEING POSITIVE! AND LOOKING AT THE BRIGHT SIDE! I wonder where this blog will be, a year from now? I kind of like writing my thoughts down like this. They don't usually have an outlet. (Journals are out of the question, my hand cramps up too easily, and you can't CAPS REALLY EASILY LIKE THIS)

In order to enable my laziness, how about a compromise? I won't have a drawing every day... But I'll keep it in mind. I'll outfit post, sometimes... And try to find my style, both with clothes and with paints. Who knows where it'll take me? There are a million "Emily's" out there... but there's only one Emmilions!! (As far as I know, the google search brought up my nerdy video game thing I never finished adding video games to and my GaiaOnline account. P.S. I wanted to pair a scarf with it, but my only scarf was missing... mysterious! I later found it shoved at the bottom of my hamper, which is what Erin tends to do when she steals my clothes. Does she really think I'm so insane I'd forget that I'd take a shirt/scarf/jacket/whatever that I haven't worn lately and just shove it in my hamper!?

Oh, well... I let her get away with it, because I remember when I'd steal my older sisters clothes...
